During 1st of Nov if you happen walking around Berjaya Time Square, Bukit Bintang, Pavillion and KLCC you will notice lots of people in Red Canon shirt walking around taking picture… and most of them carry DSLR camera~~ I’m one of them…

The event start quite early 7am everyone need to register themselves and give you lots of freebies, Canon Shirt, Canon Cap, Canon Lanyard, Towel, free breakfast and tea break meal.  Lots of people join this event… not only Canon owners this event open for any camera brand users Nikon, Sony, Olympus, Pentax and many more… is a bit weird carry Non Canon brand camera wearing Canon red shirt and red cap… well what ever la… I feel that this is bloody damn good advertising marketing strategy by Canon… suddenly thousand of people walking around the street people see Canon~~ For non Canon user they need to pay RM 15 for the registration…

In this event everyone required to capture 3 pictures for 3 different theme to win the prize… and there are 3 pit stop along the way… first stop is the Berjaya Time Square theme ~ Indulge Metropolitan, Second pit stop at Pavilion Canon Concept Store collect the second theme ~ Mess In Rules and the last pit stop at KLCC Canon concept store theme ~ Goes Green… Why cant they come out some simple easy straight forward theme title like other countries? haih~~

Quite hot that day walking around the street snapping photo… actually since I don’t really know what is the meaning of the theme, I might as well snap what I like and in the end pick the one that close to the meaning of the theme…

We need to come back Berjaya Time Square at 3pm start to upload our pictures and Hi Tea will be served during that time… you see a lot sweaty people KO in front the Time Square, they all seem very tired after whole day carry heavy gear walking around…

After the uploading picture session, next is the photography seminar by Zung, some professional photographer… actually his talk quite bored… all he talk about is how he stop by custom during his assignment in some ang mo country…. not sure la… then his VISA bla…bla.. bla…. then he show some of his art work. Might as well ask him shut up and show us picture and teach us how he did for each one…

Everything start getting suck after the seminar… the judges took hours decide who the winner… not to blame the judges maybe because too many photos submitted… but the organizers… come on la a lot sweaty and tired people there la… entertain us a bit la… drag drag drag… keep looping the same 30 to 50 photos slide show over and over again through out the night??? I bet there are thousand of pictures…. and then you guys keep playing the same Canon song over and over again… at least put a model snapping show or something come out something entertain the crowd la… The event suppose to end at 8pm but drag until 9pm… YOU KNOW THERE ARE MANY HUNGRY PEOPLE THERE OR NOT??

After give away the grand prize I straight ciaozzz…. and of coz I din win anything hehehe…
