All the sudden I’m back listen to local band that been quiet for quite sometime… What I mean is… I hardly hear from local radio station playing their song anymore…all I know is everyday womanizer womanizer…

I don’t think much of my readers listen to these (but I do hope some  of you enjoy listen to them…) some of you might think is crap but I love it anyway… I use to have those songs with me… but if wasn’t my harddisk crash for no reason…

Here are the video clips that I found from youtube~ long live YOUTUBE!!! They are not as leng chai like Jonas brother , rich, glamor and such but damn they play good music too!!! even you don’t agree with me!!! ya they play differently… not like Jay Chou or any other artist you try to name it…

Love this song… wonder where the botak is… the same year they won the Malaysia English band award thing if not mistaken… I cant remember… but now I dig out to refresh some of my memory…. but the song is what I care the most!

Must check out the solo at 1.42~ hardly see any local can play such nice piece of solo in live. Respect!

From Sarawak… Nice Stupid Playground is actually their band name. You can name what ever you want as long as the song is NICE~

Bedroom Windows… sometime radio station still playing it… once in awhile (I mean really once in awhile only…) because is nice~ I love it so don’t care!

Love Me Butch!!! They are one of the best heavy live performer in Malaysia… I bought my first ever local album which is from them… Of coz is ORI!!!

Pop Shuvit~ one of the local band that produce quite numbers of album compare others.

One Buck Short~ local punk rock band… they are cute haha… the fatty~ sorry… mooky… appear in some local commercial as well if you notice on television.

Butterfingers… They are like the master class in local underground band in the early year. This song is actually the first local underground band I ever listen to that bring me deeper… quite Kurt Cobain alike~ I mean the vocal singing part.

There are quite some others talented band I didnt mention like Disagree, OAG and such~ maybe next time I’ll write about it. Well the songs and band naming might cause a bit disturbing for some of you… I’m sorry… but I just don’t care… I love their songs and is not like all their songs in every album are nice but some of them really worth listen and give some support.

This Christmas… one of my present I got was a CD from the band “Funeral For a Friend – Tales Don’t Tell Themselves”~ a welsh post hardcore band. Currently they got 4 studio albums and “Tales Don’t Tell Themselves” was the third album. Weird band name but who cares? as long as the song rock!!!

Seriously lately I found out that Japan band musician is getting better and better and top of my list… check out this indie rock band The Band Apart check out some of their song post in their myspace. Band member starting with Takeshi Arai – vocals/guitar, Kouichi Kawasaki – guitar, Masakazu Hara – bass, Eichi Kogure – drums. By the way they sing english song… for me their lyrics is not really that clear but still the rythems of the song just smooth and rock!!!

Does It Offend You, Yeah? is a British electro-rock band. Made up of four members: James Rushent (vocals, bass), Dan Coop (synths), Morgan Quaintance (guitar, synth, live vocal on “Let’s Make Out”), and Rob Bloomfield (drums). The vocal James Rushent look like Bam Margera (Professional Skateboarder).

The very first time I notice this band was through Youtube while checking out the latest the 4th sequel of Fast and the Furious. Through the entire trailer they play the song “We Are Rockstars”~~ they sound like Daft Punk but with their own unique style and music…

By the way their band name sound a bit weird and long but it actually came from British sitcom The Office. a quote from David Brent in one of the episode.

You Have No Idea What You’re Getting Yourself Into is the debut album from them. Yet the title itself took from a quote by Robin Williams in the movie Jumanji… This is by far the longest band name with a question mark behind and the longest album name I ever listen to… but they did produce good music and really rock my day… Check out some of their live…
