KATA Camera Bag~
Woot… Woot… recently bought a new camera bag for myself. The new KATA camera backpack. Yes the brand of the bag is “KATA”. Here is their official website www.kata-bags.com. There are quite a few brand for camera bags in the market like Lowepro, Tamrac, KATA, Winer and such… but all the camera bag design for me really look like a camera bag… !?!?!? I’m looking for a camera bag that doesn’t look like a typical camera bag. So in the end this Kata DR-465 Digital Rucksack got my attention… Most IMPORTANT the bag must suit my budget~ RM 2XX
What I need for a camera bag is that I can carry my Canon 400D, kit lens, 50mm f1.8 and some space for future lens~~ and it fit just fine and with lots of space left. Beside camera stuff I need some space for personal stuff like keys, notes, and other accessories.
The build quality of this bag is good and secure. Most importantly I like the material they use for the bag… really looks like some special ops tactical force… cool…
Features
Digital rucksack/daypack made to carry two digital SLR cameras with mounted lenses, 3-4 additional lenses, flash, additional accessories and personal gear.
Compartments
- Main compartment holds a digital SLR in top grip position, while the five dividers (two large, three small) system will separate, organize and protect lenses, flashes and other accessories to suit your particular needs
- Large top compartment will hold personal gear or additional equipment.
- A padded bottom camera insert can be removed, to convert the rucksack from a camera bag to a daypack when you’re not shooting.

Hi… where u get the Kata Bag at RM2XX ??? i asked around n they say is RM385
…. can tell me where to get it ? thanks

I bought from Eng Tong, usually they got booth during photo festival in KL.
I think the RM 385 u mention is the Kata DR-467 with laptop compartment. The one I bought is smaller size Kata DR-465.
